The movie is loosely based on the classic English fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk.” The story follows Jack (played by Nicholas Hoult), a brave and kind-hearted young man who lives in a small village with his mother. One day, Jack’s life takes a dramatic turn when he trades the family cow for magic beans, which leads to a series of extraordinary events.

As Jack climbs the beanstalk, he encounters a group of friendly giants, including the lovable and gentle giant, Grumbald (played by Ian McShane). However, not all giants are as friendly, and Jack soon finds himself face-to-face with the terrifying giant, Lord Killalot (played by Daniel Radcliffe).
