The “Neon Genesis Evangelion” franchise has been a cultural phenomenon in Japan and around the world since its debut in 1995. Created by Hideaki Anno, the series has become synonymous with mecha anime and has inspired countless fans with its complex characters, thought-provoking themes, and epic storyline. In 2007, Anno and his studio, Studio Gainax, began working on a new project: a series of films that would reimagine the Evangelion universe for a new generation.
