Diablo II: Lord of Destruction is an action RPG that features fast-paced gameplay, a vast array of character classes and skills, and a dark gothic atmosphere. The game is divided into four acts, each set in a different location, including the jungle city of Lut Gholein, the dwarven fortress of Kurran, and the city of Harrogath.

The game takes place 20 years after the events of the original Diablo II. The Dark Wanderer, the protagonist of the original game, has become corrupted by the soul of Diablo, the Lord of Terror. The Dark Wanderer sets out to find a way to free himself from Diablo’s control, but ultimately becomes possessed by the demon Baal.
