In one of the most moving scenes in cinema, Nash learns to identify his hallucinations not by evidence, but by omission. He notices that the little girl never ages. He realizes his roommate never introduces him to anyone else. He concludes: They are not real. He hasn’t cured his schizophrenia
But he doesn’t respond. He simply nods to them and walks away. a beautiful mind
